75% of bottom feeding fish in the Thames have plastic in their gut. #FFSLDN aims to raise awareness about the effects of litter and reduce the amount entering the Thames through creative and playful interventions.
I led on design, art direction and concept development for interventions such as ‘Grate Art’, ‘The Fish Zorb’ and ‘Catch of The Day’. ‘Catch of The Day’ is pop up fish monger who sells litter caught fresh from the Thames. The interactive piece has appeared at Borough Market, Putney Warf and other locations along the Thames.
Every year, the UK throws away 3 million reusable items of furniture whilst vulnerable people go without essentials like a bed or cooker. My creative partner and I invited artists and upcyclers to transfer furniture saved from skips and landfill. This furniture was then sold for profit and all proceeds were put towards an emergency fund with QSA Homestore who provide good quality furniture to vulnerable people.

The campaign #LoveYourForest is still ongoing and has become a key event in the local calendar. I led on design from 2017 -2019.

Whilst working as a support worker at the North London YMCA, I recognised that staff were struggling to understand and support the mental health needs of their clients. Based on this insight, I teamed up with MIND to provide mental health training for all staff and created a mental health toolkit which helps staff identify key symptoms and signposts them to local services. We also created opportunities for residents to connect with tailored mental health activities and discussions.
